When sounds meet colours
This aesthetic environment identifies with particular emotional states, by using abstract visual imagery, which corresponds with appropriate sounds in combining to encourage people to relax or to beneficially alter their emotions.
The ambient sounds and colours, which are related to the emotional relaxation, were chosen following on from my research and it shows that green and blue are the colours most commonly leading to relaxation. As a result, establishing a connection between a colour and its matching sound should help people to calmer, resulting from this audio visual approach. The current work involves two versions, one being installation-based, the other being computer-based, the future intention being to merge the two.
